Toca Boca World’s listing says the same for third-party ads: single-player, no chat, no strangers.

Avatar World’s US store pages do not mention ads. Check the live Play listing if that matters in your house.

All three are free to download with an optional shop. Use purchase approvals on the phone either way.

What’s free

Towniz: the whole town is open. Houses, parks, shops. The shop sells extras (slots, packs, clubs), not a ticket onto the map. New free content lands every week, with regular game updates.

Toca Boca World: the base game is a full playset. Extra locations are packs. The Post Office gives free gifts on Fridays.

Avatar World: free to download, with coins, a pass, and Pazu PLUS on the US shelf.

Player houses

This is the Towniz loop. Kids have shared thousands of houses. You place one on your map and play inside it — a friend’s house, or one from a player you have never met. That library keeps growing, so there is new play without buying a pack.

Shared houses use in-game items only: no photos, no typed chat, no uploaded images. Publishing a house needs a Towniz account and an active club. Playing houses other people made does not.

Toca Boca World is single-player. There is no gallery of other children’s houses to install on your map.

Avatar World mentions play with friends and family. It does not let you drop other kids’ houses onto your map and walk through them.

Who should pick which

Toca Boca World If you want a single-player world, no other kids’ creations, and you are fine buying location packs over time.

Avatar World If your child already likes that city-of-avatars style and you are comfortable with coins, packs, and a pass.

Towniz If you like to build and share, want to play other people’s houses for free, and want new player-made content every week. No ads. All locations open.

A child can try more than one. All three are free to download.
