A Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects within the company, from the initial ideation through to completion. They coordinate people and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Defining project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities.
- Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation – both internal and third party.
- Outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver project on budget.
- Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, work streams & activities.
- Managing delivery of the project according to this plan.
- Tracking project and providing regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.
- Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and/or budget.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction.
- Manage contracts with clients.
- Communicate with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
- Assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables to the team.
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year proven working experience as a project manager or project coordinator.
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
- Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Strong demonstrated use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge in using ClickUp is a plus
- Ability to think critically and analytically
- Strong time management and planning skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Experience in the video game industry or art industry is a plus
